*Help Wanted Now*: Stepping Stones Nigeria is currently looking for schools throughout the UK and the rest of the world to support our exciting and cutting edge project, The Read and Write Initiative. Our aim is to train 3700 teachers in 1146 schools to teach reading and writing to 85,900 children using the fun and successful method of synthetic phonics. It costs around just £190 to teach all Primary 1 and 2 children in one school to read and write using this effective method. If your school is interested in sponsoring and linking up with one or more Nigerian schools as part of this project, we would love to hear from you.
