Raise Awareness in your Community

All our awareness-raising work takes place under PACT (Prevent Abuse of Children Today). We have our own site dedicated to this aspect of our work. To view this, please visit www.makeapact.org

1. Request a copy of 'Saving Africa's Witch Children' or 'Return to Africa's Witch Children'.

‘Saving Africa’s Witch Children’ is a great way to introduce the problems facing the Nigerian child and the extent of witchcraft-related abuse to your local community. You could hold a film screening at your community centre or perhaps see if you can hire out a local cinema. We can provide you with materials to give out at your event to encourage others to get involved. Request a copy now!

2. Set up a campaign group

Joining with other people is a great way to help change lives and have fun at the same time. You might like to get together with others who are committed to human rights and take part in PACT. You could set up a regular group or just have special meetings within your usual group every now and again. You could hold letter writing sessions in a local pub or coffee shop or ask people to sign up to the PACT in your neighbourhood.

3. Encourage your friends, colleagues and students to make the PACT

The main component of our campaigning work is the PACT which we are asking people to sign. This is an opportunity to really show your commitment to ending child witchcraft stigmatisation, child trafficking and abuse. Sign the PACT here now.
