Fundraise at your Church

Stepping Stones Nigeria’s work could not take place without the vital financial support from individuals and groups across the world. To get your church involved in raising money to help our work to continue, here are a few suggestions, though of course you might have plenty of ideas of your own!

1. Hold an event with your church

You might want to put on an event such as a coffee morning, a craft fair or a ball for your church and local community to attend.  Events are a great way to raise money and also help people to have fun at the same time. We can provide you with newsletters and other materials to help people find out a bit more about our work.

2. Hold a special collection for Stepping Stones Nigeria

You might want to have a special collection for Stepping Stones Nigeria during your morning service.  You could show a short clip of ‘Saving Africa’s Witch Children’ and give out newsletters so people know who we are and what the money raised will go towards. If your church has a Mission’s team, it might be a good idea to involve them in this. Make sure your congregation are prepared for this day by putting a notice out a few weeks beforehand.
