Raise Awareness at your Church

All our awareness-raising work takes place under PACT (Prevent Abuse of Children Today). We have our own site dedicated to this aspect of our work. To view this, please visit www.makeapact.org

1. Download our church pack

We really believe in the importance of the Christian community standing together to denounce child witchcraft accusations, abuse and trafficking. In order to facilitate this we have created a pack for you to share with members of your church. This contains more information about the key demands of PACT as well as plenty of ideas of how you as a church can get involved. To download this pack please click here. 2. Set up a prayer and campaign group

You might find that a few of you in your church are inspired to meet regularly to pray and campaign for children at risk of witchcraft-related abuse. Visit our PACT website to sign up to the PACT and find our latest campaign actions. You can also download our church pack which will give you ideas and suggestions for your group. You might want to visit our friends at Bethany Children’s Trust who are currently running a prayer campaign specifically on the subject of child witch stigmatisations.

3. Request a copy of 'Saving Africa's Witch Children'

We find that our first documentary ‘Saving Africa’s Witch Children’ is a great way to explain the problems facing the Nigerian child and the extent of witchcraft-related abuse. 4. Get your church leaders involved

We are really keen for church leaders at all levels to put out statements, write letters and preach sermons denouncing child witchcraft stigmatisations. This will send an important message to church leaders in Nigeria and will have a huge impact.
